Benefits that bring opportunities to re-set our whole health
The Breath of Life is the deepest rhythm of our life force, and innovates our mind, body and spirit. Cranio-Sacral therapy honours this knowledge with its holistic approach to healing.
Our inherent life force produces rhythmic impulses that subtly move throughout the body’s tissues and “breathe” the motion of life. These rhythms are the essential ordering principles of our body and mind—a blueprint for health. Sensitive hands can detect these impulses by palpation.
By creating optimal conditions for health and wellness, Cranio-Sacral therapy can help treat a wide range of illnesses, trauma and chronic pain, and bring rejuvenated wellness and vitality.
Cranio-Sacral therapy is safe for all ages, from babies to elders, and can be effective in many cases, chronic and acute, including:

A Brief Introduction
The Cranial Rhythm
Few structures have as much influence over the body's ability to function properly as the brain and spinal cord, which make up the central nervous system. And, the central nervous system is heavily influenced by the cranio-sacral system - the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord.
A pulse action, known as a tide, starts at the sacrum and causes the cerebral spinal fluid to pass up through the entire Cranio-Sacral system, like a wave, keeping it bathed and nourished. These waves cycle about four to fourteen times a minute, and they cause tiny movements measuring no more than one or two-sixteenths of an inch.
Impacts to the Central Nervous System
It all can be thought of as a hydraulic system. with many components working together to regulate the pressure of these fluids on the brain. Optimal circulation needs constant mobility of the fluid and the bodies structures. When the membranes get tight or if there are restrictions in the fluid flow and our structure looses its freedom to glide freely, we feel pain and symptoms of dis-ease start to manifest within us.
Every day we endure mental, emotional and physical stresses and strains, from the trauma of being born, to illnesses and serious accidents, causing our bodies to work to compensate for these patterns. These distortions can get stuck in our bodies and over time cause restrictions to the cerebral spinal fluid flow and tension to form around the brain and spinal cord, resulting in disease. This can then create a barrier to the healthy performance of the central nervous system, and the whole body-mind system it interacts with.
Re-establishing Flowing Waves
WIth a light touch, the practitioner uses his or her hands to listen and evaluate a client's Cranio-Sacral system. He or she is gently drawn to the various locations of the body where there are restrictions or blockages and using a combination of soft-touch techniques, light manipulations and fascia unwinding these restrictions can be released, returning the patients entire system back to balance.
Through this process the natural Cranio-Sacral flow of cerebral spinal fluid is re-established, helping the body to function properly, improving immunity to illness and allowing many chronic symptoms to disappear.
